Rachel & Richard: Herefordshire Wedding
What I really liked about this wedding was it was very traditional, rustic, and a country wedding all at the same time. Did I mention it was great fun too? Just take a look at some of the dancing photos and the lawn game photos towards the end!
Rachel wore a beautiful traditional veil and Richard was in very traditional top hat and coat tails attire. The wedding was set in Weston-Under-Penyard, Herefordshire and took place at Rachel’s family home. Lovely grounds and a rustic canvas marquee combined with hay bails for guests, provided a vintage feel. The tables were decorated with amazing looking flower arrangements and featured various elements such as copper and gold for table names. Both the Bride and Groom are geologists, so i thought the table names were a nice touch!
After the cutting of an amazingly layered cheese cake, guests were treated to a Ceilidh band which are always really good fun. I had a little chat with the M.C about how people were dancing and asked her to queue me in so I could get some great shots. For one of the dances I found myself right in the middle of a circle of everyone whilst the M.C instructed everyone to fly into the middle and raise a fist or clap their hands. I was literally about 30 cms from people flying in. I couldn’t resist getting my fisheye lens and it turned out to work a treat!
I had great fun at this wedding and wish Rachel and Richard the very best, congratulations guys!
