This essentially is a re-post of a wedding from last year but I never really got round to writing about it! What a beautiful small wedding. Rich & Jen’s day was all about themselves and the loved ones around them and it was an honour to share this special time with them. Jen’s bridal preparation took place at her parents house and the light was fantastic. A large mirrored dresser combined with nice bright window light are perfect conditions for photography and I was inspired and excited right from the get go. The music you can play below, is ben howard and was being played whilst Jen was getting ready.
Jen’s wedding dress was a genuine vintage dress and I couldn’t resist hanging it from a tree in the summer light. Their ceremony took place inside Hereford town hall in front of friends and family and then they had a small yet wonderful reception and Rich’s parents house.
Despite being such a small wedding, it was incredible to shoot. It really was all about the people at the end of the day and this wedding reflected it. Everyone knew each other and it was such a relaxed atmosphere. Rich and Jen share a passion for travel and the wedding cake, also made by friend, was a brilliant send off for their honeymoon which was a road trip across america. I’ve known rich personally for a while and from all the conversations we’ve had in the past about films, I have to say I was very jealous to hear he would be stopping by a few famous landmarks!
