Cat & Zac’s stunning wedding out at the beautiful Crumplebury Wedding Venue and Green Cow Kitchens near Whitbourne Hall, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire
“Thank you so much! The photos captured the whole day better than we could ever have hoped!”
My first blog of 2020, and man it’s been a crazy, crazy year! Cat and Zac booked me to shoot their wedding without meeting me out at the new wedding venue Crumplebury, and just as we were set to meet up before the big day, along came Coronavirus! Originally the wedding was due to go ahead in early Spring but got put back to late September. Cat and Zac originally had a larger guest list but decided to go ahead with 30 of their nearest and dearest and luckily timed it just right as this was literally the day before guest numbers dropped from 30 to 15. But let me tell you, every wedding I’ve shot with 30 or even 15 guests has been awesome! Sure, it’s been a little bit more intimate but certainly no less fun. Cat and Zac spent most of their wedding in and around the gorgeous Crumplebury wedding venue, but to get around having to wear masks indoors, they decided to have part of the evening reception out in the woods at Crumplebury under festoon light – and it was gorgeous! With drinks in the woods and lovely warm firepits, Cat and Zac also decided to have their first dance as man and wife to a live piano performance. Yes, Crumplebury have a piano in the woods! It was such a pleasure to be Cat and Zac’s wedding photographer and I felt extremely welcome whilst having a giggle shooting their couple portraits. The staff at Crumplebury were excellent too, so a big shout out goes to them for making the day run smoothly and for also being such welcoming hosts. Congratulations again to Cat and Zac! You guys rocked the day and I loved shooting your wedding out at the stunning Crumplebury!
