I’m based in Herefordshire but I’m available for weddings all over the UK and Europe. Travel expenses are included if your wedding is further afield so no need to worry about any extra costs.
The package I provide means I’ll be taking photos all day long to capture the full story of your wedding – from the bride/groom preparations right up until the first dance. If theres a good party vibe I often stay on into the night and I’ve rarely gone home earlier than 10pm.
Whilst my style lends itself to unposed photography, I’m still happy to do around 8-12 traditional groups, this will take between 20 – 30 minutes depending on group size. Depending on location and the weather, it’s usually best to do these straight after the ceremony (before anybody gets a chance to get to the bar!) Your ushers/best man/maid of honour can be very helpful at this stage by gathering the people you want. I won’t make you have these kind of group photos if you don’t want to.
This is a common and valid question but I always tell my couples this is dependant on what happens on the day but I aim to give all my wedding clients between 300-400 photos. If you have a lot going on in your day such as entertainment, games and interesting things or events then theres likely to be more photos. If there’s not much going on, there is only so many photos I can take of people talking and drinking.
All of your images will be online in your gallery as well as on the USB within 4-6 weeks. If you decided to purchase an album you can select your favourites for the album direct from your online gallery and my arranging of the album will take a further week. Once you have seen and approved it, it generally takes up to two weeks for it come back from the printers.
Yes, I fully encourage you to do so. You can print images from the usb for personal use, the only limitation is that the images cannot be used for commercial purposes. If you would like to purchase prints from me, you or your guests can order from your personal password protected gallery in various sizes and finishing options.
Of course. From the online gallery, they can order digital downloads, prints and various wall art products. The gallery for guests will be online well after you have access to your own gallery so you will always see the photos before anyone else does. To let family and friends have access, you just pass on the gallery link and password.
Get in touch. If you want to meet me, then I can meet you at yours or somewhere equally relaxed and informal such as a coffee shop. Here, we can talk about your day and requirements and I can show and discuss my work. At this stage it’s just us getting to know each other and there is absolutely no obligation to book me or pay any money whatsoever.
Yes! It’s a great alternative if you live miles away!
To secure your date I require a 20% booking fee along with a completed contract. The remaining balance is payable no later than 28 days prior to your wedding date.
First of all I’ll back up all your images across various formats making several copies to ensure your photos are safe. I’ll then set about organising, cropping, editing, colour correcting and converting all your images. After about 4-6 weeks, I will post you your images on the USB in a nice presentation box with the online gallery link at the same time.
My main cameras are Nikon bodies, and I use a variety of prime lenses. For personal film photography I use a Pentax LX and Yashica Electro 35gx camera.
Yes, I’m fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity as well as having all my equipment insured.
