Ok, first of all I’d like to apologise to my Mum for the swearing. 2020 was no joke. But I’m pretty sure Momma Hayes will excuse me the odd profanity for what has been, on the whole, a terrible year! It’s been tough. But it’s been way worse for others. I’ve been pretty quiet this year especially when talking about Covid-19, but it ain’t the easiest subject to navigate and unless you are Jeff Bezos, I’m pretty sure it’s been bad for everyone!

To avoid going too in depth into what has undoubtedly been the most talked about year for a long time – I just want to simply say thank you to two sets of people. Firstly, key workers, thank you so much! And secondly – my couples! It has been hard, but my couples have been amazing. Whether it’s been to go ahead with your plans this year or to successfully postpone your big day to 2021, thank you so much guys. You literally have been my rock!

Smaller weddings Rock!

I was due to have over 30 weddings in 2020 but this ended up turning into only 6 – so whilst my year round up blog would normally have a few more images, I was very surprised to find that these smaller weddings have been absolutely awesome! I’ve done weddings this year with 30 guests, 15 guests and even less than 10 guests and love really did conquer all! Here’s to 2021 and here’s to the world healing as fast as it can!
